Myanmar - 2 new polio cases

Two cases of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 1 (cVDPV1) were reported this week from Papun district, Kayin province. The onsets of paralysis were on 8 and 29 August 2019. There are six reported cases of cVDPV1 in 2019.
